Follow the seven-night Northern Expedition through Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti, then continue to Zanzibar for four nights. Continue to Tarangire for two nights. Wildlife drives explore baobab country and river habitats, with time to rest between outings. The daily route follows local conditions and your confirmed programme.
Day 4Lake ManyaraLake Manyara · 1 night
Travel to the Lake Manyara area for one night. Leave time for the lakeside landscape and surrounding woodland, with the park visit and transfer timings confirmed in your itinerary.
Day 5NgorongoroNgorongoro · 1 night
Continue to the Ngorongoro area for one night. A crater outing brings a change of scenery, with its timing, permits and picnic arrangements set out in your confirmed plan.
Days 6–7SerengetiSerengeti · 2 nights
Continue into the Serengeti for two nights. Wildlife drives explore open plains and rocky kopjes, with your base and daily outings chosen for your dates and the season.
Days 8–11Zanzibar coastZanzibar · 4 nights
After your final safari morning, travel onward to Zanzibar for four nights on the coast. The flight and transfers are planned around current connections. Leave time for the beach, with optional island visits or time on the water arranged separately.
Day 12Departure from ZanzibarOnward journey
Transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your onward journey. Your final transfer is arranged around the confirmed flight time.

How many nights are on safari and at the beach?

The journey has seven mainland safari nights and four Zanzibar nights, for 11 nights across 12 days. Day eight connects the Serengeti with Zanzibar; day 12 is departure from Zanzibar.

Is the safari the same as Northern Expedition?

Yes. The seven-night safari route and night allocation match Northern Expedition. This option adds the connection to Zanzibar and a four-night beach stay.

What do the three styles cover?

Each style proposes accommodation, meals, safari guiding, transfers and a coastal stay for the full route. Domestic flights, park and crater fees and optional experiences must be itemised in the final quote. A style selection records your preference; it does not reserve a booking.

What needs checking for the Zanzibar connection?

Confirm the operating flight, baggage allowance, transfer times and any required connections. The departure plan should allow sufficient time for onward international travel. The beach location and meal plan are confirmed alongside your mainland arrangements.
